Martin SCHÜTTLER (1974) studied with Diego Feinstein, Nicolaus A. Huber and Ludger Brümmer at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany. He has composed works for a variety of instrumental formations (often in with electroacoustics or live-electronics), as well as for sound installations, and film music and media art. In 2002 he won the Kranichsteiner Kompositionspreis der Darmstädter Ferienkurse, and was composer-in-residence at the ZKM in Karlsruhe from 2000–2004. His music is performed by international musicians and ensembles such as Trio Accanto, Ensemble Modern and the Radiosinfonieorchester des HR.
