Alan HILARIO (1967) grew up in Manila (Philippines), studying music (violin) under Gilopez Kabayao. Between 1985–92 he was involved in diverse projects with film and theatre directors. In 1992 he received a DAAD (German academic exchange programme) stipendium to study at the Musikhochschule Freiburg (Germany) under mathias spahlinger (composition) and Mesias Maiguashca (electronic music), completing his degree in 1996. Since then, Hilario has been working as a composer, living in Ulm (Germany).
